...for someone who has been a shoulder to lean on.
Before I start today's post, yes, you can sing along. Some...times in our lives, we all have pain, we all have sorrow. But....if we are wise, we know that there's, always tomorrow. Lean on me, when you're not strong, I'll be your friend, I'll help you caaaaaaarry on!
We all have those moments where we just need someone to lean on for a moment. Today we are giving thanks for those who have been a shoulder for us to lean on when life feels overwhelming. Who has been your shoulder to lean on?
Today's post is shared by Kristin Rienhardt, Program Assistant.
I am thankful for Morgan & Megan, two of my best friends. Ever since we met as summer staff, we have been like a trio. We all go through stuff in our life, good and bad, and our friends and family are those that we can lean on. Megan and Morgan have been there for me through thick and thin, especially the last few years. We don't all get to be together a lot but we all know that if any of us has something going on, we can call in a second. God tells us that we will not walk in this life alone, that's why we have others to walk with us. John 16:33, says " in this life you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world." I am grateful to have people in my life that can weather the storms with me.
